Good Morning to all Who Read my Post,

Have you thought about how to hear God's voice? Well this is what I have been contempting all morning.

When Samuel the prophet was a young boy living with Eli the High Priest the bible says that Samuel ministered before the Lord, even as a child.  While Samuel was lying down that the Lord called unto Samuel and he answered, "Here I am! So he ran to Eli and said, Here I am, for you called me. And he said I did not call, lie down. Then the Lord called yet again, Samuel, and this repeated three times. The word says that Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him. And the Lord called Samuel again the third time, So he arose and went to Eli and said Here I am, for you did call me.  Then Eli perceived that the Lord had called the boy. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say Speak, Lord for Your servant hears. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, Samuel! Samuel! And Samuel answered, Speak for Your servant hears.

How many times has the Lord called unto to us and we did not listen? God wants to speak to us and push us into our destiny, will you listen. After the Lord spoke to Samuel, Samuel became the first prophet over Israel and He had to tell Eli the Priest that God was going to judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them.  Wow! What a hard word to tell someone that raised Samuel up in the Lord and whom you loved he was reluctant for he was afraid to tell Eli the vision. God not only spoke to Samuel but also appeared unto Him.

But Samuel obeyed the Lord, Eli told Samuel do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you. So, Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. So Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the Lord.

My goodness what a lesson for us all. Are you waiting to be established in God's kingdom, waiting to be launched in Ministry, then I say wait, lesson and obey when He speaks to you, go tell all that he says unto you, leave nothing out.

The month of January usually is a month when we fast for 21 days, which most follow the Daniel fast. So, my subject today will be five things we need to do why we fast.

Ruth 3:3 Naomi told Ruth "Therefore wash yourself". God is saying during your time of prayer and fasting. Cleanse yourself. We cleanse ourselves through reading and mediating on the word of God. Read as often as you can to let the word cleanse your mind, will and emotions.

Secondly, Naomi told Ruth and "anoint yourself", let the anointing of God over take you whereas we all know that the anointing is what destroys all the yokes in our lives. Anoint yourself with oil and consecrate yourself for seeking the Lord and him only.

Thirdly, Naomi said "put on your best garment". Ruth had become a widow and she had been in her black morning garments, just like us. Sometimes we have poor me attitudes and moan and groan but when we fast the Lord wants us to put on our garments of praise, but not just praise him he wants us to put on our best praise. Praise and anointing gets us where we need to be and that is in his presence.

Fourthly, Do not make yourself known to the man until he has finish eating and drinking. THEN it shall be, when he lies down, that you shall notice the place where he lies, and you shall go in, uncover his feet, and lie down.  In this day and time this was part of worship, laying at the Kings feet. When we are in prayer with fasting it is proper and good for us to have fully surrender towards our King and worship laying at His feet.  Anoint His feet with our tears and waiting for Him to speak to you.

Finally, after we do these four the last and final step is to wait. "And He will tell you what to do"
We must obey what the Father is speaking to each one of us and faithfully obey everything He tells us to do.

We are learning to die out, decrease our flesh and increase in our spirit man. Wow!!! where we could go in the spirit realm with God!!!

Today is my first day to blog and I am very excited about this. It is a new year and 70 years are complete. We are now moving into the year of Jubilee. Jeremiah 29 the Lord spoke and His word was I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, cause you to return to this place. (place of blessings) For I Know the Thoughts That I Think Toward You, says the Lord, Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a Hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will Seek Me and Find Me., when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord and I will bring you back from your captivity, I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

All we have to do is Seek Him. He is calling us to pray towards Him, and he will listen to us, He can hear us, we can hear Him, clearly. We will find Him!!! When our hearts are right, He will be found.

All His thoughts towards us are of peace and not evil. If you're having evil thoughts they are not the thoughts of our Father in Heaven. Check yourself!!! He wants to give us a future of Hope not famine, lost jobs, home's repossessed, our families taken away, BUT HOPE!!!
