Good Morning Viewers,

Two nights ago the Lord gave me a few schedules in my sleep. I felt it was important to share these two scriptures and maybe discuss them with you.

The first one was Romans 8: 1-11

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh. God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of Sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Condemnation means - To judge against (in Greek) to condemn or damn, punish, judge and conclude.

We are no longer under the Law but under Grace. Grace is God unmerited favor that is now upon our lives. We are free from the law of sin and death. We are now Son's and Daughter's of Christ Jesus and walk in righteousness through Christ Jesus.

May Pastor preached a message yesterday about our Passion and Purpose in life. I believe this scriptures goes in hand with His message. If our Passion is set upon the Spirit, our minds set on Christ then we will not be carnally minded but Christ minded. You want life and peace Spiritually minded is the way to live, it becomes a way of life. To be carnal minded is enmity against God.

Enmity means: a reason for opposition, hatred, hostility, an enemy foe. (in Greek)

So with this understanding we can not please God; without faith we cannot please God. If you are carnally minded you do not have the mind of Christ but the mind of fleshly acts. This is the reason as a new creation we do not mind the things of the flesh but of the Spirit. The word says we are to renew our minds daily on word of God.

This will keep was walking and living in the Spirit and we then are dead to Sin and we live in the Spirit. It is a way of life and it becomes our right standing in Christ Jesus. He who raised Christ from the dead will raise you from the dead in our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you and this will cause us to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This is how we rule and reign with His authority while we are living in the Kingdom of God, still in our mortal bodies. This is the life that will blossom into Immortal Glory in the day of Resurrection. It is our obligation to the Spirit!!!

The second scripture the Lord gave me was Proverbs 5: 11-13.

And you mourn at last, when your flesh and your body are consumed, and say: How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised correction! I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!

Can this be a warning to us about unchastised love, perversion, adultery and/or Spiritual adultery?Give ear to your teachers in the Gospel and always obey the one's God has placed over your souls.

Obedience is better than sacrifice; forget those things that are behind you and reach for those things that are before you. Life, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Spiritual Minded!!!

God Bless!!!

Louise Cook
